Estadio General Pablo Rojas, La Nueva Olla, is lauded for its impressive capacity and the electrifying atmosphere during Cerro Porteño matches and major finals. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained pitch and the vibrant fan energy. However, some note that the surrounding area can feel less safe, and there's a desire for more amenities like merchandise shops and a roof.
"(2023-02-28)
I was there for a Conmebol Copa Libertadores game. Cerro Porteño against a club from Chile. The match was super interesting and the Paraguayan team won. However, the area of the stadium is not charming and welcoming. For gringos, it can be somewhat dangerous if you are alone or you do not have someone speaking Spanish with you. Have your IDs and a bit of cash with you.
EDIT: I have been a second time against Palmeiras in a VIP section. The entrance is safer but the area around the stadium is still not good. My rating remain."

"We attended an international convention with over 26,000 in attendance and it was peaceful and beautiful."
Zac Jac (HeyZac)
"This stadium is in excellent conditions, the seats are for 45,000 persons at full capacity, but sometimes they allow 48,000 persons including the people that are stand up. The grass seems very well preserved. Is the house of CP CERRO PORTENO. A club with a great tradition in Asuncion Paraguay."
