What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for accommodations on or near Jr. Cruz de Piedra highlight good value, cleanliness, and a central location close to amenities. While not luxurious, they offer essential comforts like hot water and Wi-Fi. Some guests noted issues with noise, small room sizes, and the need to call for entry after hours, but overall, the friendly service and convenient access make it a recommended choice for budget-conscious travelers.
"Good value for money. Clean and secure. Certainly not luxury, but reasonably quiet. Bed was quite hard, and was definitely small for a double bed. But the Hostal was good for what we wanted: economical place, close to the centre."
Phil Ayres
"It was a good impression; they provide shampoo, soap, towels, and enough toilet paper. The room was a bit small for a double family room; the bathroom needed a mat to step out of the shower. It's very noisy between 3 and 6 a.m.; a woman is in charge of the other rooms. It's close to the entrance, but too steep to walk. It's only open until 11 p.m.; then you have to call to be let in. They provide many free amenities, including a refrigerator and microwave. I booked on time; I was very confident."
Nancy Diaz
"Nice and clean, the rooms are in good condition, and the staff are very friendly. The only downside is that the room is only stairs, with no elevator or access for people with disabilities. Otherwise, everything is peaceful except when you want to leave or enter the hotel. You have to call to have the door opened for you, either when you leave or when you arrive. The attendant has to come down to open it. There's no one at reception; you just have to call."
