Reviews Summary

Reviews for accommodations in Huaraz, near the Alpamayo trekking routes, are mixed. While some guests praise the warm service, clean rooms, and comfortable beds, others report issues with cleanliness, maintenance (mold, running toilets), and even dirty sheets. The restaurant experience also received varied feedback, with some finding the food good and well-priced, while others noted initial hygiene concerns.

"update: stopped going here the bathrooms need much needed repairs could use bleach to remove mold in bathrooms and vinegar to clean bathroom toilet always running sinks running. Clean the nasty carpet could sweep along edges of carpet , much needed repairs in all rooms much needed deep cleaning needed all else is good. It is a quiet place, walk off the streets from the car's honking, yes.. The beds are comfortable the television great Spanish and some english channels. I have stayed here on many occasions. I find plenty of hot water at not in mornings not so much and have to wait for it to heat up. This is not the Ritz so do not expect that here but it is very relaxed the staff are really nice and great people some speak english not all. I have stayed at other hotels in Huaraz and so far I am happy. If your needs are to sleep refresh this is the place.
Tonight I ate in the restaurant. Kinda of had a slow start glass and cups and plates had food dried on them. But once I got past that with clean dish. The food was really good and plenty. Great price and like the place I am comfortable here."

Carmen Varela

"Found the bathroom trash bin full, I asked the front desk to take out the trash. Next morning we noticed several dirty stains on the sheets, we complained again at the front desk and we were told that probably the room wasn't cleaned well. We are never going back and we do not recommend it."

Vladimir Jara

"It's a nice house, but the room I stayed in smelled bad, perhaps because of the carpet. The toilet had no seat or lid."
