"Incredible place to visit! Its an easy day trip from Huaraz. The hike itself is totally not challenging and takes around 2/3 hours max.
The only tricky part are the big rocks you walk on, however this isn’t anything dangerous. The view of the lake is incredible.

"It was magnificent!! I highly recommend this lake. It’s the best lake in Ancash! It doesn’t look real until you get closer to it. I have no words to express how amazing you feel to be there. Also, take the tour in Caraz not in Huaraz. The hotels in Caraz are cheaper and cleaner than Huaraz."
