What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Playa El Chaco is a lively hub in Paracas, praised for its vibrant atmosphere and stunning sunset views. The Yakupark inflatable water park is a major draw for families and thrill-seekers. However, some visitors find the beach itself less appealing due to seaweed and boat traffic, and the commercialization of the area can detract from a purely natural experience.
"Nice place, but a terrible experience.
The places to eat, enter the museum, or visit Paracas Island are annoying; you can't enjoy the scenery anymore because it's become a business.
The restaurants near the beach offer very good breakfasts, except for the street breakfasts: 4 soles for a loaf of bread that, exaggerating, costs 2 soles.
Terrible experience. National or international tourists should only visit Paracas in passing, as it's not a place to stay or enjoy."

"A lovely place to watch the sunset. Tours to Ballestas Islands depart from the docks. There are a variety of agencies with varying prices, so it's advisable to check several and go with the one that offers the most affordable rates.
Some tourists and locals swim at this beach, but in my opinion, it's not crystal-clear, rather choppy from the boats that abound there. It also has quite a bit of seaweed, but it's a matter of taste.
Its boardwalk is quite wide, and you can spend a pleasant time enjoying the fresh sea breeze.
This beach is also home to the Yakupark water park, for the whole family to enjoy."

"This beach is located in the Paracas district. Tours to the Ballesta Islands depart from here. You can find several seafood restaurants here, among other things. The area has improved considerably, but if you're looking for a quiet place to swim in the sea, I'd prefer other beaches in Paracas."
