Have you been to Pisac Archaeological Park! From Cusco we caught a collectivo to the town of Pisac, where we hopped in a cab to take us upto the top of the mountain. Here we explored different buildings and farming landings before walking approximately one and a half hours back down to town. The town of Pisac has a cool ‘hippie’ vibe about it with plenty of natural medicines, yoga, meditation,...

"This site was really impressive to see and comprehend the massive amount of effort to terrace so much of the mountain at such great heights! You truly get a sense of wonder at what was accomplished.

A must see if you are visiting Peru."

"Very interesting place and most definitely worth the trip! It is a huge site with multiple, well-preserved areas to explore. It is also in a beautiful location with great views of the city and the Sacred Valley. You can drive (or take a taxi) right to the entrance and then take it at your own pace with lots of spots to stop and rest … and interact with alpaca!"

"This place is breathtaking!.
So much history involved in this site.

We took a taxi from town up. It cost 20soles, you can also walk but its pretty steep up and it will take about 3 HS.
We did the walk down, took us 1.5hs. amazing views.
In a lot of parts you walk by the cliffs, so you have to be very careful.

There's toilets right at the beginning. Which are ok, no toilet paper though..but as travellers we generally carry our own tp.

Way less crowded than machu Picchu, just an hour away from cusco..
Make sure your take your time as is needed and worth it.
The ticket is included in the boleto turistico"
