What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Sonya's Garden for its stunningly beautiful and tranquil gardens, delicious farm-to-table cuisine, and exceptionally hospitable staff. The spa services are a highlight for relaxation, and the charming cottages offer a comfortable stay. While some find the prices a bit steep for day dining, many feel an overnight stay offers better value and a more immersive experience.
"Villas were superb. We got the Jasmine and another one next to it, both having two rooms and baths each, and were air-conditioned. They had a mini-fridge, WiFi, but no TV. There was also a sitting area at the entry way, sort of a mini living room.
We did the acupuncture and massage, both of which were pain-relieving, relaxing and worth the drive from Makati.
The next day, we had lunch, ordering from their a la carte menu because the buffet was 100% vegetarian. Don't get me wrong, their salads and soups were top-notch, just not filling enough. I'd say their callos was better than any I've had in Manila. Reminds me of Madrid. Sorry Alba, your callos is 2nd best now in my book.
Lastly, service was A+. All the staff were helpful, friendly and pleasant.
Will definitely return."

"As a vegetarian, Sonya’s Garden is nothing short of heaven on earth. I got the buffet for 1,000 PHP per person, which felt like an absolute bargain for the sheer amount and quality of food.
The salad? Crisp, fresh, flavorful—truly amazing. It honestly made me want to start growing my own lettuce. The fruit was perfectly ripe and sweet, the pasta was absolutely delicious, and every single dish felt thoughtfully prepared. Even the drinks were perfection, down to the fresh berries in my tea at the end.
The chocolate cake for dessert was rich and satisfying, and I loved the little vase of fresh mint on the table so you can add it to your food as you please. The setting itself is stunning—lush, romantic, and I can absolutely see why people choose to have their weddings here. The gentle running waterfall along the wall added to the serene atmosphere.
I loved it so much I bought a bottle of their salad dressing from the gift shop—it was one of the best salads I’ve ever had, and I’m a self-proclaimed salad connoisseur!!!
Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience."
