"Mystical Cave is perfect for anyone looking for a bit of adventure — with a short trek and an underground cave exploration.
As someone who enjoys a challenge, I tried both! First, there's a 20–30 minute uphill trek (depending on your pace). It’s a bit tiring, but refreshing. At the top, you’ll get to enjoy beautiful mountain views — a nice reward before heading back down.
After that, we started the Mystical Cave tour. The inside of the cave is cool and quiet, and our guide shared interesting stories about its history and natural formation. After about 30–45 minutes, you’ll reach the end of the main path, where you can see beautiful stalagmite formations that almost look like natural crystals — really amazing to see up close.
But if you're up for more adventure, there's a lower section of the cave that's more challenging. The path gets steep, and the man-made ladder there isn’t very sturdy, so be extra careful. It’s also dark, so a flashlight is a must. I made it through, but it wasn’t easy! You’ll need to crawl or slide through tight openings, and even “dive” into narrow parts — it's not for the faint of heart.
Overall, it was a fun and challenging experience — definitely worth it if you’re into nature and adventure.

"Tucked away in a very remote village, the Mystical Cave is quite a site to behold. If you are travelling by motorcycle, the road leading to is very precarious and so it's better to park at the juncture of where the cement factory entrance and beginning of the village starts, then take a tricycle (about 100 pesos) to the actual cave site.
Inside the cave there are lots of bats and you can hear them echo locate constantly overhead. If you're afraid of bats, be aware.
Inside the cave is, as the name implies, "mystical". It is lit with a string of lights but it is still recommended to bring your own flashlight. Many strange outer-worldly looking rock formations, stalactites and stalagmites strewn the interior of the cave and it goes quite deep.
For the more adventuresome, there are a few tunnels that are quite horrifying looking. Definitely an unsettling feeling, but if you're an experienced caver, you'll probably be right at home.
The random locals will try to push "tours" and unofficial "entrance fees" onto you. But you're better off just doing your own exploration.
