"A Simple Yet Solemn Sanctuary of Faith
This church, though simple in design, exudes a profound sense of peace and devotion. It enshrines La Virgen Milagrosa de Badoc, the most venerated image of Our Lady in Ilocos Norte, and arguably, the entire Ilocos Region.
Stepping inside, I was so captivated by its sacred atmosphere that I almost forgot I originally came to pray and pay homage to God and His Blessed Mother—I simply wanted to stay a little longer. The architectural beauty of this basilica perfectly reflects the unwavering faith and devotion of its locals and pilgrims alike.
There’s an undeniable sense of serenity here, one that makes me wish I could stay and live in its peaceful embrace. Without a doubt, I will return whenever I visit Ilocos."

"Perhaps unknown to many this miraculous statue came from Japan when during the shogunate period hundreds of Christians were killed including the First Filipino saint, Lorenzo Ruiz. It was place on a big crate with a crucifix and a violin by the Japanese Catholics to prevent its desecration and prudently keep their Catholic identity. The violin is now lost but the cross was taken by the mother parish which is now part of the archdiocese of Vigan."

"Catholics flock to this miraculous church for healing or simply to pay homage to the Virgin Mary. The exposed centuries old bricks on the exterior of the church contrasts the updated interior but that adds charm to the character of Virgen Milagrosa Church. It's a very beautiful church!"
