What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Museo Kordilyera for its educational value and beautiful presentation of Cordillera culture, especially its textile exhibits. The modern architecture and convenient location within UP Baguio are also highlights. Some minor maintenance issues like flickering lights were noted, but overall, it's considered a worthwhile and enriching cultural experience.
"Great place to learn about the culture and history of Cordilleran people through the craft of weaving.
The place needs some tune up with some flickering light bulbs but otherwise a great place to visit! They have a small souvenir shop with actual textiles."

"Wow! A real highlight of our trip! Museo Kordilyera is a museum that is equal parts beautiful and educational. I love how the design of the museum accentuates its unique location and cultural objects, and vice versa.
I learned so much from the text of the exhibits, and seeing the fabrics in real life, up close, in all their glory added so much to the learning experience. There was also a UP Press bookstore upstairs, I think?, from which I bought 2 books about the Cordillera that I’ve only seen in this UP CU location.
For adult museum-goers who love art, history, our country, or all of the above, I highly recommend visiting Museo Kordilyera. For UP alumni like us, make sure to bring your ID (or a photo of it) to avail the free admission"

"A must visit place in Baguio City. Unlike other museums, the exhibits are just enough for someone who is strolling around or just paying a visit. The architecture is also great.
The place has a very wide parking area even on weekends; a cafe and a bookshop also operate at the museum.
The exhibition usually changes every year so you can keep coming back.
