What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Big La Laguna Beach is praised for its quiet, serene atmosphere and excellent snorkeling and diving opportunities. Visitors appreciate the peaceful environment and the accessibility to marine life. However, the lack of dining options and the challenging access roads are noted drawbacks.
"Very quiet little beach with a couple of dive shops. The snorkeling off to the left side of the beach around the rocks is good. There aren’t any restaurants so bring snacks if you need food. There is a bit of shade from the buildings and a couple of trees. To get to the beach do NOT take a tricycle from the main road because the hills are too steep and you will end up sliding backwards down the pavement. Walk along the beach front and through the little paths from Sabang beach (just ask the locals) or get a tricycle to take you on the main road until you hit the crazy steep road and then just walk up rather than drive. It’s about a 10-15 min walk from where the main road gets too steep for the tricycles and it’s all downhill once you get over the initial short steep part"
