Pinatubo on a weekday, there were few tourists so we had more time to appreciate the beauty of the crater and enjoy the treck, the 1 hour drive was bumpy but fun, the hike was tolerable for a first time hiker like me. The 15 Kilometer back and forth hike was rewarding considering the majestic view of the Mt. Pinatubo.
PS: you should arrange your tour in advance with the local tour agencies for a smooth tour.

"My Mount Pinatubo hike was truly a beautiful disaster. It rained that day, which made the trail quite slippery because of the stones, but it added to the thrill of the experience. The hike was a mix of challenge and awe, walking through rocky paths and rivers, all leading to the breathtaking view of the crater lake. The beauty of the place is undeniable, and standing there felt surreal knowing the history behind it.
What made the trip even more meaningful was being able to give out packed food to the Aeta community in the area. It was a simple act, but it added so much heart to the whole experience.
