Reviews Summary

Coron Public Market offers an authentic slice of local life with fresh produce and great pasalubong options like cashews and dried fish. Visitors appreciate the friendly vendors and the opportunity to experience Filipino culture. However, the market can be very hot due to its low ceiling and some areas, particularly the fish section, have strong odors, leading to concerns about hygiene and comfort.

"I really love exploring wet markets and this place is no exception. I knew I would find and learn a lot of new fish here and I did!

I suggest buying your pasalubong cashews here if you only want the plain ones. It's a bit cheaper than Melb's :) you can also buy dried fish here! They wrap it already in paper and packaging tape and make a cute bag with a handle with it ♡

The reason I rated it low was because the yero ceiling was so freaking low. It offered to insulated whatsoever from the heat. It felt like a sauna. The local government should fix it because the vendors and visitors are prone to heat stroke in that kind of heat."

Isabel Beatrice Bautista

"The local government should improve the place. Nothing has changed since the last time we were here 8 years ago, considering Coron is a tourist destination. To be honest the area was worse comparing last time. Adding to it, is inflation and prices aren’t the same anymore. The fish and meat are fresh though."

Jared Moraleta

"I just went here to check it out, nothing special has a meat and fish section which really smells bad walking though lol . The next section is fruit and veg and they have other sections selling clothing, accessories etc."
