"As a visitor to the area of La Paz in Iloilo City, the La Paz Plaza is a welcome respite from the busy-ness of the city. The Plaza is bordered by Burgos, Jereos, and Huervana Streets and Extension. Either at night or early in the morning, the place can provide a mental rest with the wide space where you can breathe in either cool night or morning air. You can either walk, jog, or run along the paved paths inside the area. At the time of our visit, however, part of the walkway near the tennis court was closed. You have choices of sports for you to enjoy: open grounds for soccer, an open court for tennis, and a covered court either for volleyball, basketball, badminton, or even Zumba. The morning walk was particularly chill and relaxing as you are treated with the morning mass from the nearby Nuestra Señora de la Paz y Buen Viaje Church which can be heard throughout the plaza. Another visual treat is the small lake where you can take photos of the sunrise or even selfies. It is suggested that you spend 1-2 hours in the place to fully enjoy the amenities and have a physical and mental recharge as you go about your business in this very busy city."
