"This Mansion was built by Emiliano Lizares in 1937. It was designed by Architect Andres Luna de San Pedro, he was the son of the famous painter Juan Luna.
The property was sold to the Dominican Father in 1962. It was converted into Angelicum School Iloilo in 1978.
In 2015, the National Museum declared the mansion as Important Cultural Property.
Tourists can visit the grounds of take photos. Masses are held every Sunday for the immediate community. Tour of the interior of the house needs special permission from the Dominican Fathers."
