Reviews Summary

Cabilao Island is celebrated for its serene, car-free environment, pristine beaches, and exceptional snorkeling and diving opportunities. Visitors consistently praise the friendly locals and the island's peaceful, romantic atmosphere. However, the scarcity of water and limited amenities like supermarkets are noted drawbacks.

"People:
The family i stayed with is always very acommodating especially Nanay and Tatay.
During the fiesta, the simple island becomes so glammed up that people from other neighboring islands come to disco.

Baluarte (local beach):
Fine sands.
Clear waters.

Resources:
The seafoods are real fresh.
Mangoes are in every corner.

The only problem the island has now is the scarcity of water.
Families need to fetch water from Loon (which is in mainland Bohol) to have water."

"One of the calmest islands in the Visayas. Expect friendly locals, small SariSari stores (no supermarket on the island), slow-paced life, no noise, no cars, no internet. I stayed at Lina's beautiful homestay in barangay Pantudlan. There also are some dive resorts on the white sand beaches. Direct boat to Cebu (Argao) leaves twice a week. Frequent boats to Bohol mainland (Loon)."
