What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Power Mac Center Spotlight for its incredibly intimate black box theater setting, which creates a powerful connection with performers. The convenient location within Ayala Malls Circuit Makati, ample parking, and good sound system are also frequently highlighted positives. Some minor drawbacks include potential distractions from backstage noise and the theater's cold air conditioning.
"Last weekend, we watched Bar Boys at this theater. When they say that it’s an intimate theater, it is truly one. It was free seating and we sat at 4th to last row. There were like 4-5 rows in front of us so you can tell we were quite close to the stage. It was indeed intimate with the performers. But it was not intimate with your seat mates. There is enough space to sit comfortably throughout the play. I would definitely watch future shows at this theater."

"I’m really adoring this intimate, small theatre set-ups! You are this close to the stage, and THIS close to the actors. Makes the impact of the whole experience crank up to another level.
I got tickets for my sister and I to see Tiny Beautiful Things and it did not disappoint! PMC Spotlight Blackbox Theater is located inside Ayala Malls Circuit Makati. Parking is not a problem. It is easy to find. There are signs, and guards were very helpful in giving directions. The theater has its own service elevator. It can get crowded at the waiting area when show is about to start, and because this is also where merch are sold. But AC is good, space is well-ventilated, and sound system is great. Staff were also very organized. The play gave us feels, the theater gave us chills. Yes, that cold haha.
Well, it’s great to see live theater making a comeback and having special venues like these to host it. We absolutely enjoyed the show! ‘Til the next!"

"I had the pleasure of watching bar boys the musical in this theater due to its cozy ambiance and intimate setting. I just hope they fix the backstage, as the sound of squeaking wood can be somewhat distracting for the audience. Nevertheless, the theater and its facilities are well-maintained. Definitely a great venue for a musical."
