Reviews Summary

Museo Pambata offers a vibrant, colorful, and engaging experience, particularly praised for its interactive exhibits and focus on Filipino culture. While some visitors note that certain exhibits are not functioning and the museum is undergoing revitalization, the overall atmosphere remains positive, especially for families seeking educational fun. InstagramReddit

"I just visited recently just to reminisce my mem’ries here when I was young, it feels nostalgic.

The only functioning right now is the ground floor with limited rooms accessible since the museum is under “revitalization“ after the pandemic. The room with national heroes and pahiyas festival stays the same, nothing has changed since 2005.

I hope they will bring back its glory with interactive playgrounds and stuffs. ❤️"

"Museo Pambata is a vibrant and engaging space perfect for children and families. The newly installed Classroom of the Future is a standout feature, offering an interactive and imaginative experience that sparks curiosity and creativity. The museum is surrounded by vivid colors that create a playful and inviting atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Every area is well maintained, and the entire place is consistently clean, including the comfort rooms. Museo Pambata continues to be a wonderful destination for learning through play, blending education and fun in a space that’s both inspiring and thoughtfully designed."

"Price: 300Php at the time of writing (Adults and Children)

Summary:
Cleanliness and ambiance 7/10
Installation Quality and Safety Factor 6/10
Staff and Service 6/10
Price 6/10

The location is a brisk walk to Rizal Park if you are near the area.
I first visited this Museum when i was in gradeschool and remembered that there’s an exhibit at the 2nd floor.
Currently, that area is already closed.
There’s a washroom inside and the surroundings of the museum (inside) are relatively clean.
There’s an area for workshops and works of children are displayed.
Inexorably, outside the Museum, there’s a lot of beggars, can’t say whether there are pickpockets, so just be on your guard when visiting.

They have a playground and garden.
Most of the interactive exhibit is not working, no sound, no lights.
There are real musical intruments (which is good to be part of the exhibit), however the way it was installed is not secured and it dropped while one of us are playing with it.

The staff are friendly during admission, but there were no special briefing before going inside, they will just tell you what time they will close. Some staffs are also there to volunteer to take your photos.

We went during Manila Day(Holiday), the admission is free for Manila residents, that explains why there’s quiet a crowd when we went. I believe that there’s a souvenir shop but wasn’t able to go there or we thought that it was closed.
I believe that IF the price is cheaper, it will be worth it —- because most of the exhibits are not working or turned off when we visited.
But in terms of content, overall there’s good amountbof information on the exhibits and the concept is there."
