The guide was friendly and was introducing the different type of medical plants in the forest while leading us around the trail.

"I had a great experience doing the Pamulaklakin Trail. I didn’t know there’s a place like this in Subic so it was definitely a good surprise for me who is just recently getting into hiking/trail running. It was a good 2-3 hour hike during which my guide has been telling me a lot of interesting things specifically about survival in the forest (he even made a cup and spoon for me out of bamboo). Do not hesitate to go even if you are alone (like me) as it is definitely worth it. I will try to do this again when I get the chance to go back."

"The Aetas people are a treasure to the community of Subic, being a truely native people of Binictican hills in Subic Bay Olongapo. The Aetas are a warm and friendly people, they are small in size and uniquely unlike most other Filipino they have tight curly hair.
