Habang nag-i-scroll ako sa feed, I came across a video showing cats living in the middle of the lake. Agad akong nag-alala dahil sobrang delikado nito para sa mga pusa lalo na ngayong tag-ulan. I reached out to Lucky Angel Strays to ask saan ito located and she confirmed na gusto na rin talaga nilang i-rescue pero kulang pa ang kanilang funds. Fortunately, Mayor Georgina Guillen of Piddig - Ilocos...

PANDIN LAKE in Laguna, Philippines is one of the Seven Lakes of San Pablo in the Calabarzon region, just a few hours’ drive from Manila. If you’re looking for a getaway in Laguna, this is an activity I would recommend especially for small groups. "This place is a good place to relax. It's about 2 hours and 30 minutes from manila on weekdays and about 3 hours on weekends. Getting there was a little bit tough Becasuse there is only 1 small sign directing to a small pathway down the road. There is parking across the pathway, there's a little house where you pay around about 50 pesos for parking your car there.

From the road you would have to walk about 400 meters that's about 15 minutes of normal paced walking to the lake, but there is an entrance fee of 30 pesos per person on the way. After reaching the lake you have a sari sari store and rafts for rents.

The rafts you can rent to either just cross the lake or have a picnic on the raft and it costs around about 230 pesos per person (Not including food) the people who were renting out the rafts they can provide food but it would be more than 300++ pesos per person.
I would highly suggest if your going on a weekend you would call there number on trip advisor and reserve a raft Because when it's the weekend it's very busy and there would be a very high chance that there wouldn't be enough rafts.

Overall I would recommend this place to chill and to have fun! The lake is super cold and refreshing to swim in. Inexpensive but an enjoyable place."

"We went here in January. The weather was cold and there was light rain. Going there is easy. The locals are friendly and public transport (jeep) has a sign "ILOG" which will take you to the drop point. There is a 10 to 20 minute trek between two private lots. Luckily the owners gave a right of way to the lake. We decided to went there early in the morning so as to avoid the crowd and to have the lake to ourselves. The lake itself is serene, so relaxing. You can spend the entire day in it. Only a local environmental group is there to take water samples. Our guide told us that they, themselves, take care of the lake. Help from the local government is small or non-existent. We did not have proper swim wear nor extra clothes so a swim was not in our agenda. Like I said, we were there early so we were not able to eat lunch, which they say is fantastic. At the end of the lake, there is a path that will have you glimpse over lake Yambu."
