Visiting Balinsasayao Twin Lakes Natural Park was truly a magical and refreshing experience. Despite the occasional light showers and the slippery road on the way up, my partner handled the drive with care and skill, making our journey safe and smooth. The misty weather actually added to the charm of the trip — it felt like we were being slowly embraced by nature.
As soon as we arrived, we were captivated by the serene beauty of the park. The twin lakes — Balinsasayao and Danao — are nestled amidst lush mountains and thick forest, making the view almost surreal, like something straight out of a postcard. The calm, mirror-like surface of the lakes reflected the surrounding greenery, creating a peaceful and dreamlike atmosphere.
We took the short trail that winds up and down through the forest toward the second lake. It was an easy hike, filled with the sounds of birds and the scent of fresh earth.
