Visitors rave about the crystal-clear emerald waters, the unique experience of swimming with stingless jellyfish, and the awe-inspiring caves and lagoons. "Sohoton in Siargao is so amazing! I really enjoyed swimming in the lagoons. The water's super clear and not that deep, but there are parts that get deep so be careful. The caves and views are breathtaking. It’s such a magical and unforgettable experience—worth the trip!"

"Sohoton Cove — Siargao’s Most Jaw‑Dropping Day Trip
Sohoton Cove National Park, on neighboring Bucas Grande Island, is a nature-lover’s paradise — think emerald lagoons, mystical caves, and harmless jellyfish swimming .
After a roughly 1–1.5 hour boat ride from Siargao, you’ll transfer into small paddle boats to glide beneath a limestone arch into the cove (only open during low tide) .
Highlights include:
• Hagukan Cave, where glowing blue‑green water illuminates as you splash by (enter at low tide)
• Magkukuob Cave, featuring a short trek through stalactites and an optional 5-meter cliff jump into pristine waters
• Jellyfish Sanctuary, where you can gently swim among hundreds of non-stinging jellyfish in Tojoman Lagoon—a surreal, peaceful swim
• Tiktikan Lagoon (Blue Lagoon): perfect for kayaking, photos, or mellow floating surrounded by dramatic limestone islands
Sohoton Cove is a bucket-list natural wonder ideal for adventurers and peace-seekers alike. From swimming with jellyfish to exploring hidden caves and jumping into azure waters, it’s one of those rare places that lives up to the hype. It might be a long day, but it’s absolutely worth every minute."

"Unfortunately, I went there in the low season and it was not worth the price and time. It took more to go to the island than doing the activities. In the end, I only saw 2 jellyfishes where it was supposed to be a sanctuary full of them. Maybe my opinion would be different if I could see a cloud of jellyfishes as they advertise in the tour. 5 hours on a ferry and then only 2-3 hours in a tour it’s not worth it."
