What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning natural beauty of Paguriran Island and Lagoon, particularly its unique limestone formations and crystalline lagoon perfect for swimming. The affordable entrance fees and the novel experience of walking to the island during low tide are major highlights. However, some visitors note issues with litter and limited facilities like restrooms.
"We had a great experience at Paguriran! We just walked in—no need for advance booking. The large cottage was only ₱700 and entrance fee was just ₱10 per person. Super sulit! The place is beautiful and perfect for kids since the water is shallow and safe for swimming.
Important tip: NEVER book online. There’s a fake Facebook page pretending to be Paguriran Beach Resort. They ask for a down payment (DP) but it's a scam. Good thing we did some research and saw warning posts from others. Always verify before sending money!
Highly recommended for families looking for an affordable and relaxing getaway."

"The island/ lagoon can be reached by crossing the sea by walking. No need for a boat because it was not too deep. Only below the knee level. There are parking spaces allocated and nearby stores and cottages. There are also pay CR and shower rooms but very limited only ( I think 3 Cr and 3 shower rooms).
Upon reaching the island, I recommend going up first to get a nice view of the island and lagoon! Try swimming at the lagoon too! Unfortunately, there are some undisciplined visitors who throw trash anywhere so expect to see some trash there :( I hope we can do our part in saving the environment by keeping it clean!
At noon, before sunset, it was really low tide and a tiny sand bar appeared. Very interesting also to see a boat on the rocks 😂😳😅"

"I enjoyed it with my family, even though it was raining that time, but it was okay. The lower part is long so you can reach the island without having to take a boat."
