Reviews Summary
Nabasan Beach offers a serene, secluded escape perfect for disconnecting, with praised staff and clear waters ideal for snorkeling. However, guests should be prepared for high prices, especially for dining, and potentially unreliable WiFi. Some visitors have also noted challenges with reservations and service delays.
"This place was an experiment for us. Super far from everything, including the noise of loud motorbikes. Good of you like to stay in one place and want peace from noise. We stayed two nights when one night would have been sufficient. Room cost was high, and not even for an over water bungalow. If you want an over water bungalow, they have 12 units available. You must call them to book. The over water bungalows are always booked, so they do not make them available online for booking. The beach is decent for the bay that the property is on. Water was clear and nice. The restaurant is pretty expensive and nothing too exciting. No problem, but you are stuck here and it's your only option, so if it is not to your liking then it's an issue. Staffs were all great. Included buffet breakfast was decent. Overall, a good getaway if you want to be away, but if you want to wander and see other stuff, eat outside, and be active, that's not really an option here. No elevator."

"A lovely getaway that disconnects you from the city-life, and also the internet. Almost perfect if not for a few things. I would visit again :)
💸 Price: Stayed for two nights at the Casitas, their best rooms, for 15.5k per night which includes breakfast. Expect about +1k per person for dinner/lunch at their resto. Definitely 5-star hotel pricing.
👥 Service: Lovely and helpful staff, but they are clearly overworked and understaffed. Stayed from Sat-Mon, and experienced significant delays on bills after the meal (30min wait to pay), and room service (1hr delay in advance food order). We had to follow up 3-4 times which was painful to do 🥲 They are too busy to follow-through and deliver luxury. I hope they are at least getting paid well for their efforts.
📶 WiFi was not working. Call ahead and confirm if they've fixed it. The whole 3 days and 2 nights, we were making do with slow mobile-data. It would have been fine if there were a lot of activities/events. But from sunset to just before bed, we were struggling.
🍽 Food: Honestly amazing food. They have good selection from all things filipino, to pastas, burgers, and pizza. Enjoyed the seafood pasta, hawaiian pizza, and sinigang. Breakfast was buffet style and so-so selection. Soups were not hot enough, and the breads were so-so. Ala Carte is the way
🏖 Clear and pristine beach. Soft sand mixed in with smal corals, and lots of fish. Perfect for snorkeling which is what we did 2 days in a row. The pool is small and gets filled with kids fast. There are a lot of fun water activites present forda price 😀 bring goggles so you can snorkel for free."

"Our team held our team building activity at Kamana Sanctuary Resort last June 7–8, 2025. Overall, the place itself was beautiful—the rooms were spacious and clean, the facilities were great, and the staff we encountered on site were accommodating and friendly. The resort provided a relaxing environment, perfect for group activities and team bonding.
However, our experience was affected by several issues. Reservation was very difficult, as I had a hard time reaching their hotline. The assigned sales officer was not very accommodating and at times came across as mataray, which made coordination quite stressful. Check-in was also inconvenient—we arrived around 11 a.m., but our group was only able to check in almost 3 p.m., which caused delays in our planned activities.
The most disappointing part is the unresolved matter of our refund for an overpayment. Even after three months of consistent follow-ups via email, phone calls, and SMS to their Sales Officer, we have not received any response. This lack of accountability and poor after-sales service is very concerning.
In summary, while the resort itself is a beautiful venue with excellent facilities and friendly staff, the reservation process, delayed check-in, and especially the unresponsiveness regarding our refund request left us with a negative overall impression. Food and drinks are pricey also."

Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
Be prepared for the resort's pricing, especially for food, as dining options are scarce. Bringing some familiar snacks from home can be a good idea. The reliable staff are generally accommodating, but it's wise to confirm any specific family-friendly amenities or services when booking.
💰 Budget Travelers

The Nabasan Beach Experience: Disconnect and Unwind
However, this seclusion comes with a price. Reviews consistently mention that dining at the resort restaurant is expensive, as it's often the only option. While the food is generally good, the cost is a significant factor for many visitors. The resort also aims for a digital detox, with WiFi being notoriously unreliable. This can be a pro for some, but a con for those who need to stay connected.
Despite these considerations, the staff are frequently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness, even when they appear overworked. The beach itself is described as decent, with clear water and soft sand mixed with small corals, making it suitable for swimming and snorkeling. The infinity pool, though sometimes crowded with children, offers beautiful views.
Accommodation Options: Beyond the Standard Room
Beyond the overwater bungalows, the resort also offers other room types, such as the 'Casitas,' which are described as their best rooms and come with a significant price tag. While rooms are generally spacious and clean, the pricing is consistently noted as being on the higher side, comparable to 5-star hotel rates. This positions Nabasan Beach as a more premium getaway rather than a budget-friendly option.
It's also worth noting that the resort lacks elevators, which could be a consideration for guests with mobility issues. Always confirm room details and accessibility features when booking to ensure your stay is comfortable and meets your needs.
Navigating Service and Reservations
Service delays, particularly with bills and room service, have also been mentioned. This suggests that while the staff are trying their best, the resort may be understaffed, leading to longer wait times, especially during peak periods. Guests are advised to be patient and perhaps follow up politely on requests.
Furthermore, there have been concerning reports regarding financial matters, including issues with refunds for overpayments and unexpected charges upon arrival. It's crucial for all visitors, especially those booking for groups or events, to meticulously document all payments and agreements and to follow up persistently on any outstanding financial matters.
