What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the Madonna of Japan Peace Park for its free entry, serene atmosphere, and beautiful sea views, making it a relaxing spot for a stroll and photography. However, some reviews note that maintenance could be improved, and amenities are minimal, suggesting visitors bring their own refreshments.
"It got cleaner, still has no maintenance the water fountain in the center doesn't work the stone tablets are broken. There's a squatter living up the hill. And everytime I go there there's always at least two couples not giving a damn what theyre doing.
The picture attached is above the hill where from time to time there are kids that always keep asking for change and keep on follwing you unless you leave that place."
Angelo Miralles (ANG-123)
"An ordinary park. There are so many joggers and bikers around the compound. No tables and chairs to hang around with. The image of Madonna is located on top. There are other images around the corner aside from Madonna. No stores nearby.
Average maintenance but you can explore this place for free."

The Madonna of Japan Statue: A Symbol of Peace
While the statue itself is a significant attraction, some reviews mention that the surrounding area, including stone tablets, may show signs of wear and tear. Despite this, the statue remains a focal point and a beautiful subject for photographs, especially against the backdrop of the sea.
Capturing the Scenery: Photography Tips
For the most dramatic shots, aim for the late afternoon when the sun begins to set, casting a warm, golden glow over the landscape. This 'golden hour' can transform the park into an even more magical place. Remember to bring your camera or smartphone, and be prepared for some truly memorable shots.
Understanding the Visitor Experience
However, some reviews point out that maintenance could be improved, with mentions of a non-functional water fountain and broken stone tablets. There have also been occasional reports of individuals loitering or asking for change, which might affect the overall serenity for some visitors. Despite these points, many still find it a nice place to visit and hope for future development to enhance its attractions.
