What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Japanese Shrine in Valencia for its breathtaking panoramic views and the serene atmosphere that offers a peaceful escape. However, some note concerns about the site's upkeep, including trash and a nearby residence that can detract from the memorial's tranquility. The steep road is a common point of discussion, requiring careful navigation.
"Title: Usually a nice Memorial with a nice view but there are private houses very close and there are empty alcohol bottles that's sad.
+ Good Monument
+ Nice view except the electricity cables
+ Fresh air
+ At the first look it looks well cared but
+ Nice nature, forest bird voices
- At the second look it looks like there is also a restroom but in bad condition
- There are trash like empty alcohol bottles
- There is a private house more a barack then a house too close to the memorial. Usually a memorial is a calming quite place where you can read informations where you can think what horrible things happend in past, a private house with screaming kids, music etc. should not be close to a memorial.

To understand... Why do I give 5 stars so rarely? Out of over 365 reviews, I realised that there are no businesses that are 100% perfect. I rate businesses in relation to an area, such as a city and the surrounding area. Most businesses in an area sell similar products of different qualities, and I rate these products up to a maximum of 4 stars. Therefore, I decided to give 5 stars if a business in this region has a unique selling point. This could be a unique product, an awesome view, or cosy surroundings that set them apart from other businesses in the area. Even if their products are not perfect, I can still give a five-star rating if there is something special about them.

"It’s an amazing view from there and some interesting history about the memorial. The road is quite steep but still easy enough for riding with the scooter"

"It was raining when I went here, but the place is so beautiful. I'm sure at dry season this place will be heaven. The greens and trees, the view of the city placed in the edge of the curving plain, the fresh air and the silence made me feel the peace and serenity I never thought I needed. It gave me life and a vigor that it made me wish to fly in the clouds, almost to the point that I don't want to come back to the city life anymore. The place seems to have a magic that worked in me: it made me forget my problems and worries in life while I'm here.
The road going here is mostly concrete now, but the road is a bit too steep and a bit slippery, so just be extra careful when you travel to this place. Maybe the only missing thing needed here is a comfort room.
While the entrance is free, you are still required to write your name in a logbook for purposes of documentation (of visitation)."
