What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Orientarium's modern design, diverse animal collection, and immersive Southeast Asian environments, particularly the underwater tunnel and elephant exhibits. While the ticket price and parking fees are noted as high, most agree the experience is well worth it for the unique attractions and well-maintained facilities. Some find the elephant 'spa' a bit sad, but overall, it's considered a top-tier zoo.
"Very nice zoo. It took us about 5 hours to explore everything, and still there was no time left for the children’s outdoor activities. So next time we will plan to spend the whole day there.
There are nice places for having a snack or lunch. We visited in the middle of the week, so it was not crowded.
The butterflies definitely left a special memory for us.
However, the main attraction – the elephants’ “spa” – felt a bit sad for me personally. Such gorgeous and huge animals playing in a small pool seemed more like exploitation than real joy. But for the rest of our group it was entertaining :) probably that was not nice only for me🫣
Just note: many people want to see this attraction, so it’s best to come early.
And definitely buy tickets in advance. We had no queue when entering the zoo."

"Nice, clean, well structured and modern zoo. We enjoyed the stay with the two children. Many things to do. Very new areas for elephants, fish aligators and orangutans.
It was very crowded, but in vacation season. Parking was difficult, we had to walk 20 minutes.
Price was good. Lot of different food available."

"The ZOO is very beautiful and spacious with many different animal species, the speciality is the beautifully varied huge Aquarium, where one is left speechless = very commendable. The tickets may be a little higher, but the price of parking is really too expensive! I would still recommend a visit for the Aquarium."
