What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Bażantarnia Forest Park as a beautiful, accessible nature escape close to the city, perfect for walks, picnics, and bike rides. While most trails are pleasant, some can be challenging for strollers due to steepness and roots. It's a highly recommended spot for relaxation and outdoor activities.
"Bażantarnia in Elbląg is a fantastic place for a walk or even a full-day trip. It’s a forested area with several hiking trails — some are easier, while others are more demanding. It’s definitely worth paying attention to which trails you choose, especially if you’re going with a stroller.
We were there with a sporty stroller, and even though it handled most of the paths well, there was one spot that was really difficult — steep, with exposed roots — and going down was quite a challenge. Luckily, the stroller was solid and we managed, but not every stroller would make it. So just be mindful of that when planning your route.
That said, the whole area is great for spending the entire day outdoors. There are lots of beautiful spots to stop for a picnic, and even a restaurant in the forest — we didn’t try it this time, but maybe next time. What’s amazing is that this kind of natural escape is so close to the city. It really feels like a hidden gem."
