What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Gdynia Film Centre being a top-tier cinema with an outstanding selection of films, far surpassing multiplexes. Its central location and vibrant atmosphere, especially during festivals, are highly praised. However, some note that front-row seating can be uncomfortable for long movies, advising early booking for better spots.
"That's the heart of Polish cinematography. The photos were taken during the 48th edition of Festiwal Polskich Filmów Fabularnych (Polish film festival). During the course of the year the cinema offers the best selection of films that can be found in 3city (klub żak in Gdańsk is also good in that regard)"
Luca Valentini
"The best- cinema in the whole 3- city! The variety of feature movies and documentaries that are being screened here will fulfill the needs of the biggest movie enthusiasts. The place couldnt be located any better. Both inside and in close proximity there are caffes and restaurants where you can enjoy time with your friends before or after the screening. The staff at the cinema is also top-notch. Big reccomendation- far superior to any of the multiplexes in the area."
David Borowka
"I love small cinemas like this one. Yesterday, we went to see "Oppenheimer," and I am thoroughly pleased with the experience.
However, since we purchased the tickets at the very last minute, the only available seats were in the second row. I must admit that sitting so close to the screen, which was hung quite high above the ground, for three hours resulted in some neck pain. Therefore, I recommend booking tickets a bit earlier to secure better seating."
