What are the most underrated/forgotten companies?

These are favorite Norwegian ships as a Swede. I personally think N.A.L. Is severely underrated. While I prefer S.A.L. (Swedish American Line) I think that Norwegian American Line had some absolutely stunning ships. The ships are: M/S Vistafjord M/S Sagafjord M/S Oslofjord (1938)

🕐 🚢 Maritime History

Polish Ocean Lines (Polska Żegluga Morska) was a major state-owned shipping company that played a crucial role in Poland's post-war maritime trade and passenger transport. It operated a vast fleet of cargo and passenger ships. Reddit

The company faced significant challenges with the transition to a market economy after 1989, leading to a substantial reduction in its fleet and operations. Many ships were sold or decommissioned. Reddit

While the active fleet is small, some historical vessels might be preserved as museum ships or be visible in port. The building itself serves as a testament to the company's past grandeur. Reddit
