What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Cieplice Spa Park offers a unique swimming experience with its stainless steel pools, leaving skin feeling soft. However, visitors frequently encounter significant crowds and long queues, even with online tickets, and the facility leans more towards an aquapark than a traditional thermal bath. Limited dining options and potential issues with amenities like toilets and ventilation are also noted drawbacks.
"Owercrowded in summer. Better to buy ticket before but still need to wait in the line. Expect waiting. IT is packed inside but you could enjoy water And some slides or oter atraction. Basic selection of Fast food And one soup of the Day."

"We love this place. However, the last visit was different - Monday 27.10.2025 around 15:00 waiting for almost 1 hour just to get in. The place was so full, they would let the new visitors in only when some current visitors left. That unusual crowd was predominantly CZ guests, possibly due to CZ holiday next day, Water felt somehow colder than other times before, but still Ok. Reasonable price, the pools are not overcrowded even when the limits are full."

"Water was super nice and my skin felt soft after.
Only complaint is parking and ticket situation.
We waited in very long line to get in.
Online tickets don't have separate entrance.
Bit of the hustle to get in but once there it is nice.
Also pools are made of stainless steel whatbi never experienced before"

🎫 🎫 Tickets & Entry
Ticket prices are considered reasonable by many visitors. However, the main issue is the long waiting time to purchase tickets, even if you have an online booking.
Yes, you can buy tickets online. However, it's important to note that online tickets do not typically grant access to a separate, faster entrance, so you may still face queues.
The most effective way to avoid long queues is to visit during off-peak hours, such as weekday mornings or outside of public holidays and summer vacation periods. Arriving before opening time is also a good strategy.
While specific ticket options aren't detailed in reviews, the primary concern for visitors is the entry process itself. It's best to check the official website for any available packages or time-based entries.
During peak times, the spa may limit new entries when it reaches capacity. In such cases, you might have to wait until other visitors leave. Visiting during less busy periods is highly recommended.
🎫 🏊 Onsite Experience
Cieplice Spa Park features indoor and outdoor swimming pools, including unique stainless steel pools that leave skin feeling soft. It also has two small whirlpools and water slides, giving it an aquapark feel rather than a traditional thermal bath.
Reviews suggest it leans more towards an aquapark due to the presence of water slides and a general lively atmosphere. While the water is pleasant, it lacks specialized relaxing thermal pools found in traditional spas.
Some visitors have noted that there might not be enough facilities, such as toilets, for the number of people present. The chip-display cabinets have also been mentioned as potentially problematic.
The complex can be very noisy due to the number of people and the aquapark-like environment. If you're seeking a quiet, serene spa experience, this might not be the ideal choice.
Beyond the pools, there are water slides and whirlpools. Some reviews mention a 'Kavarna' on the second floor with ventilation issues and a lack of general ventilation throughout the complex.
🍽️ 🍽️ Food & Dining
The food selection is described as basic fast food with a soup of the day. Some visitors found the options limited and the buffet closing times inconvenient.
The dining facilities are more akin to a buffet or fast-food counter rather than a full-service restaurant. Some reviews indicate that the 'pity buffet' closes for rest periods, making it difficult to get a proper meal.
Given the limited dining options within the spa, exploring restaurants in the surrounding Jelenia Góra area might be a better choice for a more substantial meal.
Information on bringing outside food and drinks is not explicitly mentioned in reviews. However, given the limited internal options, it might be a consideration for some visitors. It's best to check the spa's policy.
Reviews suggest that the food facilities, particularly the buffet, can have inconvenient closing times for breaks, sometimes between 14:00-14:45. It's advisable to check their specific hours upon arrival.
📸 📸 Photography
While not explicitly forbidden in reviews, it's generally advisable to be discreet with photography in public swimming and changing areas for privacy reasons. Check for any posted signage regarding photography rules.
The unique stainless steel pools offer a distinctive visual. Capturing the energy of the water slides and the general atmosphere of the aquapark section can also make for interesting shots.
Drone usage is typically restricted in public spaces and near recreational facilities. It's highly unlikely that drone photography would be permitted within the spa park itself.
A waterproof camera or a smartphone in a waterproof case would be ideal for capturing moments in and around the pools. For general shots of the facility, a standard camera or smartphone will suffice.
It is crucial to respect the privacy of other guests. Always ask for permission before taking photos of individuals or groups. Focusing on the architecture and water features is a safer approach.

Navigating the Crowds and Queues
Managing expectations is key here. While the water itself is generally well-regarded, the overall experience can be impacted by the sheer volume of people. The facility's layout, with many attractions in a small area, can contribute to a noisy and busy atmosphere. Therefore, planning your visit strategically by choosing off-peak times is the most crucial step for a more enjoyable visit.
The Unique Stainless Steel Pools
While the spa is sometimes referred to as a 'thermal bath,' the presence of water slides and a generally energetic environment leads many to categorize it more as an aquapark. The stainless steel pools, along with two small whirlpools, are the primary attractions for relaxation, but they differ from the specialized, quiet pools found in more traditional thermal spa resorts. This unique material contributes to a memorable aspect of the visit, setting it apart from other aquatic facilities.
Dining and Facilities: What to Expect
Beyond dining, other facilities have also drawn criticism. Some guests have pointed out a lack of sufficient toilets and urinals for the number of visitors, and issues with the chip-display cabinets for lockers have been noted. Furthermore, ventilation has been a concern, with specific mention of poor air quality in the 'Kavarna' area on the second floor and a general lack of adequate ventilation throughout the complex. Due to these limitations, many visitors suggest considering dining outside the spa or packing snacks.
