What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests appreciate the Center's incredibly convenient location for visiting Auschwitz I and its peaceful, tolerant atmosphere. However, some find the accommodation basic, with rooms being hot and thin-walled, and the food repetitive. Recreational facilities may also be in disrepair.
"I stayed at the Center for Dialogue and Prayer during a school trip to visit Auschwitz. Unfortunately, apart from its very convenient location near Auschwitz I, the experience was quite disappointing.
The food was extremely repetitive, and the chicken was so dry it was barely edible. Vegetarian options were lacking, and accommodations for people with allergies were seriously inadequate.
The rooms were way too hot, and there’s no air conditioning – which made it very uncomfortable, especially in warm weather. The showers were poorly designed, and the bathroom couldn’t be locked – only the toilet had a proper door with a lock, which felt very inconvenient.
There was a foosball table and a billiards table, but both were mostly broken and barely usable. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially not for group trips."

"The hotel is awesome! Especially as a vegan they are so nice with the food and the staff is very friendly. I've never felt so comfortable in a school trip before and the hotel is definitely a factor it's very clean very pretty and you got space. You have to be careful though because the walls are very thin so you can hear it when someone else talks even if they aren't right at your door."

"If you want to visit auschwitz and travel by camper/tent, this is a great place to stay. Its a bit expensive (for a family) as you pay per person, but other than that it is walking distance from the museum, has good facilities, nice green and shade, and 24h service. There are loads of other places around that are cheap but they look like parkings (ie the typical camper park area)."
