It was converted to a swimming pool ny the Wehrmacht and was used as a swimming pool by Poznań until recently, when there was protest from the Jewish and Christian side. So what is going to happen now with this dilapidated building? It certainly doesn't seem as if this beautiful city has an interest in renovating it,even though the synagogue is included in guided tours!"

"Tempted by a spot on the map, I set off on a trip to discover another interesting spot on the map of Poznań. I don't think anyone can imagine my surprise when, instead of a beautiful Jewish house of prayer, I saw an old, crumbling building. Walking around the building, I only saw confusion and bewilderment. Delving into the history of this place, I understood why it looked this way, but there's no plaque on site with any information about why this synagogue looks this way. I strongly discourage anyone interested in seeing a beautiful synagogue."
