What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sopot Marina is praised for its picturesque setting, proximity to the iconic pier, and lively atmosphere, making it a great spot for relaxation and boating. However, the public bathroom and shower facilities are frequently cited as a significant drawback, with issues regarding cleanliness, availability, and hot water.
"Overall; the marina is great. Lots of space to choose from, friendly staff, close to the city, full of life which quiets down in the evening and easy to navigate to with a boat. Water and electricity is available everywhere.
However; the bathroom situation is horrendous. There’s three bathrooms for the whole Harbour which are accessible by key card (the public access ones are about 1€ and always with a waiting line). The showers are even worse! Also limited in number (unisex, 2x), the water didn’t drain out and the overall state of the shower made me afraid to step inside. One shower had no water pressure and the other shower barely had a functioning shower head. I was standing in about 5cm of brown gray water after my shower afraid to drop my belongings and afraid someone would walk in on me. Hot water was only available for a short time in the early morning before running out for the rest of the day."
