What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Dinopark Szklarska Poręba is a hit with families, offering a fun mix of dinosaur models and engaging attractions like a 6D cinema and playgrounds. While some find the ticket price high and the dinosaur models could use better upkeep, the overall experience is enjoyable, especially for younger children who can easily spend a full day exploring.
"It's a good place to visit with young kids but I would recommend it to the above 3 years old, because the rides and play areas are from 3-7 years old.
Overall very enjoyable, loads of tables and seats, so you can bring your own food. There is a dinner and the food is nice, however it's highly priced for the amount that you get."

"Overall a good experience. Walking around the dinosaurs took about an hour, and the playground kept the kids entertained much longer. For children up to 12, this can easily fill a whole day.
I was worried about hidden extras, but aside from 3D glasses I did not find anything I would want to pay for. It is pricey, though, so not somewhere you’d visit regularly.
Nice touch from the restaurant to include an apple in the kids’ meal, even if the rest was the usual nuggets and sweet drink. Parking is free, about 300 meters away, though many drivers try to sneak closer and end up walking back embarrassed."

"Welcome to the classic rip off. The dinosaurs are in a nice forrest, that is one of the few nice things here. Several attractions were during our visit off.... oh but full price paid anyway. The train/ flinstones track they start each 30 minutes only one ride nobody cares only half of the kids in the que have a chance to ride. Would it hurt to let the rest of the kids on the train? Its 3 minutes!"

Exploring the Dinosaur Trail
The trail itself is situated in a mountainous area, meaning there are inclines and declines, so comfortable footwear is essential. It's a journey that can take about an hour to complete at a leisurely pace, allowing ample time to appreciate each exhibit and take photos.
For younger children, the dinosaur trail serves as an exciting introduction to prehistoric creatures. The sheer scale of the models, even if not always perfectly to scale as some reviews suggest, sparks imagination and wonder. It's a key reason many families choose to visit this park.
Beyond the Dinosaurs: Park Attractions
For active fun, the park features a Flintstones-themed train ride, rope courses, and playgrounds equipped with swings, slides, and even a T-Rex sandbox. These attractions are particularly popular with younger visitors and can easily keep children entertained for hours. Some visitors note that these additional activities are what truly make the park enjoyable and compensate for any perceived shortcomings in the dinosaur models themselves.
Many of these attractions are included in the general admission ticket, which is a significant plus for families looking to maximize their experience without incurring extra costs. This makes the park a good value proposition, especially when considering the amount of entertainment available for children.
Navigating the Park and Visitor Experience
Reviews suggest that while the dinosaur models are the primary draw, the additional attractions like the 6D cinema, illusion gallery, and playgrounds are what truly make the visit enjoyable and fill a day, especially for families. Some visitors have noted that the dinosaur models could benefit from better maintenance, but the overall experience is often described as fun and engaging for children.
Regarding value, while the ticket price is considered high by some, the inclusion of numerous attractions within the admission fee is a positive aspect. Bringing your own food and snacks is also a recommended strategy to manage costs, as the on-site diner can be pricey.
