What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the museum's well-preserved ancient artifacts, particularly the mummies, and highlight the exceptional service of guides like Joanna Bradke for accommodating non-Polish speakers. However, some express disappointment with the audio guide's phrasing and the visual impact of modern TV screens on the historic atmosphere.
"It l a great museum. Worth going to on a Sunday when there are no tourist. The only thing I found truly uphauling and unbelievably disgusted with was the audio that said, 'Before current events' instead of what was written on the sign by the display, which was BC, meaning BEFORE CHRIST. This is a CATHOLIC MUSEUM for goodness sake, this is sloppy work of whomever was in charge of the museum. SHAME ON THE DIOCESE OF WROCLAW."

"I attended the 14:00 tour on February 1, 2025 where Joanna Bradke was my group's tour guide. I was the only non-Polish speaker in the group and she went out of her way to repeat her tour to me in English every step of the way. She was professional, patient, and very kind. It was my first time in Wroclaw and an experience like this makes me want to return very soon. My only regret is that I did not have any cash on me to leave a gratuity for such an excellent tour.
I hope her efforts continue to be recognized and appreciated by other patrons of the museum, and by her colleagues."

"Please remove those annoying tv sets from your windows! They look so scary at night and completely don't fit with the atmosphere of Tumsky Island near old gaś lamps"
