What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Ethnographic Museum to be a small but charming place offering a focused look at Lower Silesia's folk culture, with well-presented historical recreations. While some found the exhibition size smaller than expected, others appreciated the quality of the displays and the opportunity to see traditional crafts and dwellings. Temporary exhibitions have been particularly well-received.
"Very polite people are working there! The exhibition part (music, photos, multimedia) helps to create the proper understanding of Wroclaw. There is a nice yard. Located just a few meters from the tram 5 bus station."

"I really expected a larger exhibition here so was somewhat disappointed. I would say it's not worth the trek from the Old Town to see this, there are other far better sites in the Old Town.
I only went because the Panorama ticket also gives you access to the permanent exhibition of this Museum. You've basically got two rooms upstairs, on the left & right of the staircase. What they have is not bad, there's just too little. A recreation of a number of work place scenarios like the Cooperage, Blacksmiths, Spinning evenings and an 18th Century one room house. A collection of items and garments, but no more than around 20 minutes to see everything.
Also difficult to take clear photos because of back reflection off the glass. Give this a miss and spend the time in the beautiful National Museum."
