"Wrocław Główny is the largest and most important passenger train station in the city of Wrocław, located in southwestern Poland. Situated at the junction of several important routes, it is the largest railway station in the Lower Silesia Voivodeship, as well as in Poland in terms of the number of passengers serviced.  

Originally built between 1855 and 1857, the station was designed by royal Prussian architect Wilhelm Grapow. Over the years, it has undergone several expansions and reconstructions, with the most recent major renovation completed in 2012, which modernized the facilities while preserving its historic Neo-Gothic architecture.  

The station serves various national and international rail services, including Intercity and EuroCity trains, providing convenient access to destinations across Poland and beyond. Inside, travelers will find a range of amenities such as ticket offices, waiting areas, eateries, and shops. The station is also equipped with facilities to assist passengers with disabilities.  

Located at Piłsudskiego 105, Wrocław Główny is open 24 hours a day, offering continuous service to passengers. Its central location makes it a key transportation hub in the region. 

Travelers should be aware that while the station offers currency exchange services, rates may be more favorable at exchange offices located across the street. Additionally, restrooms are available for a small fee, so having some local currency on hand is advisable.

"Wrocław Główny is the largest railway station in Wrocław. It is one of the most historically  stations in all of Poland that was built.in 1857 (168 years ago).

It is considered the largest construction in Europe. In my view, it's the most beautiful railway station in the World.
Just for illustration purposes, I visited Poznań a few months ago and I found out that their railway station is integrated with the bus terminal and tramways. I was in front of it and I didn't know where it is? Of course, there is no comparison but I just mentioned that to show the amazing State-of-the-Art in Wrocław.

In addition, Wrocław Główny serves as a central hub for domestic and international rail travel.
Once you Step inside Wrocław Główny, you’ll find a beautifully
Main Hall with Vaulted ceilings and arched windows.
You will also be amazed with the Underground Tunnels that connect all platforms with elevators and escalators.
Besides,  you will find huge waiting areas with comfortable seating, digital info boards, etc.
Furthermore, Wrocław Główny offers a variety of stores that include food & drink, cafeterias,
newsstands, bookstores, and souvenir shops. Furthermore, you will also find other convenient shops, a pharmacy, a currency exchange, and  ATMs."

"A lovely station which has been restored well and which has an impressive ceiling. Yes there are some fast food outlets but these are discrete. Even the ticket offices are historic. There is a wide underpass which gives access to all the platforms and the shopping centre at the far end. The station is very clean and lacked litter/graffiti. Access to the platforms is either via a set of stairs or a lift. There are toilets in the station but you are charged for them. They are free in the shopping centre. Apart from the display boards, there are printed timetables and train announcements which weren't very clear. This is a delightful railway station and should be visited even if you are not going to catch a train."
