"I recommend getting a trip up in the funicular, having some time at the top and then walking down. I had a beer on the artificial beach overlooking the beautiful Tatra mountains then walked down to Zakopane through the woods.
This is a very popular location with Polish tourists, you won't generally here much English spoken up here but the people in the shops, bars etc generally speak very good English and a kind and helpful."

"Very enjoyable spot with plenty of facilities. Easily accessible by cable car and wonderful views over Zakopane and surrounding countryside (subject to weather needless to say - on the particular morning I was there the weather wasn't particularly favourable)."
