What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Aqualand Algarve is a fun-filled waterpark with a good mix of thrilling slides and family-friendly zones. Visitors appreciate the lack of crowds on weekdays and the variety of attractions. However, the on-site food prices are high, and some facilities like changing rooms could be improved.
"It's a nice waterpark to spend the day. Not very crowded, a few great rides and not much lines.
The prices inside are a bit too much (food and drinks) and the pictures they take are a waste of resources, since they print them all and most people won't buy it.
The fast track is not needed and the water in the pools is a bit too cold."

"Bring your own food to save time and money (the food isn't anything special). Great variety of slides for all ages and interests and lots of seating (for a small fee). I was able to set up with the smaller kids section in view and felt safe letting the bigger kids explore on their own. A great day!"

"We visited Aqualand Algarve on a weekday and it turned out to be a great choice — the park was not crowded at all, with almost no queues for the slides. The territory is spacious, and for those who want to skip the lines, there’s an option to buy a fast track pass (€10). Sunbeds are paid, while umbrellas for shade are free.
Food on site is a little expensive, but surprisingly good in quality. I especially enjoyed the tuna salad — the vegetables were fresh, crisp, and exceeded expectations, which was a nice surprise for a water park café.
On the downside, the sunbeds are quite old and uncomfortable, and what really spoiled the impression was that people are allowed to spread their blankets anywhere on the grass, even right next to the rented sunbeds. This completely takes away personal space and the possibility to adjust or move your chair, which feels unfair when you’ve paid for extra comfort. Another big inconvenience is the lack of proper changing rooms with showers — before leaving, we had to change in the restroom, which was far from ideal.
Overall, Aqualand Algarve is fun and worth visiting, especially on weekdays when it’s less busy, but the comfort facilities could use serious improvement."
