"What a wonderful stay. Although Curral das Freiras is a rural town we had planned various hikes in the area and so we decided to stay in the village. And boy, am I glad that we did. We stayed 1 week in the 2 bedroom apartment (four of us) with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. Our hosts could not do enough for us, they were super friendly and accommodating for all our extra requests as we are serious hikers. The apartment was very clean and had all the necessary facilities.
At the entrance to the building is a lovely little coffee shop/snack bar that made some amazing sandwiches for our hikes.
I also recommend that you visit the local supermarket if you want to purchase any local made liquors.
A wonderful, comfortable stay in Curral das Freiras with superhosts Melissa and Manny."
