Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Episcopal Palace Faro to be a charming and visually stunning stop, particularly for its intricate azulejo tilework. While some feel it's a bit small for the price, most agree the unique tile art and historical ambiance make it a worthwhile, quick visit, especially given its low admission fee.

"For only 2 euros this is a must see. It is not a museum but you get access to 1 room at the ground floor, a staircase and 3 rooms on the first floor with walls that are lovely decorated with tiles with quirky scenes (what kind of elephant looks like that?)"

Mark Vanautgaerden

"I was told this was a Tile museum so I bought a entrance ticket for it. The tiles were beautiful but the exhibits were not big. It was smaller than I thought. It is a nice house rather than a museum. I hope there will be a little more exhibits in the future or just a free admission so more people can come in and look around and see these beautiful tiles."

Helen ICE

"Cute little house exhibiting amazing craftsmanship. Take a refuge here if it rains, but don’t expect a full blown museum. 15 minutes to look around, 20 if you’re taking your time. Cash only!"
