"Beautiful beach, but not ideal for families with kids. The beach consists of large stones, so it’s very hard to find a place to lie down. You can park your car on the parking area next to the main road. From there you can walk to the beach. Go left at the dinosaur sign to reach the beach. The first part is easy to walk, only the last part is a bit difficult. The beach is very beautiful though, and we were the only ones there (mid August). You can see the dinosaur footprints from the beach on the upward sloping stone hill. The dinosaur sign leads you to a viewpoint from where you can see the same stone hill which you can also see from the beach itself."

"Accesses are terrible, there is not an easy way to get there. The sand is too coarse, there is really not sand but rather pebbles. This is not the typical beach you expect to find in Portugal. Judging from its name, I guess this is more like a place for people catching lobsters to do their work."
