"Magnificent and majestic place. The guide was the best though. He is an archaeologist who showed us the place and explained everything with so much love and enthusiasm.
We learned that the place can take up to 20.000m^3 of water. It rains as much inside as outside because it was built that way. There's as many holes on top as there are streets - 4 holes - to take water by buckets and ropes. The signs on the rocks were for each builder to be paid. And many more.
We even got a tip on how to do our tour. Start from this Cisterna, go to the house on top of the street and only then to the castle.
So much information and secrets shared in this one place.
If you read this review before going here make sure to invite the guide who should be in the house next to the entrance (behind a glass wall) and be curious to ask as many questions as your mind produces. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
