Its well-maintained wooden boardwalks are a highlight, making it perfect for families, wheelchair users, and anyone seeking a tranquil forest walk with beautiful coastal views. "All wheelchair users - its 100% accessible!!
Just make sure you park at the right spot where the wooden bridge starts at :)
We stumbled upon this area by mistake. It's a hidden gem! It was beautiful and quiet and it gave me, my partner a change to stretch our legs and he could finally see the forest from his wheelchair. We loved it! We spent more time here than on the beach, making us miss the restaurant reservations- worth it 🤩
Thank you MatadoMedo! For making this accessible for elders, young wheelchair users, parents with prams. Keep the good work and keep building Lisbon Portugal to be MORE accessible 😍😍"
