"What an incredible Place to be. A bit touristic, but the view from the hight is breath taking. We have been going to the highest wave area around the corner, which was incredible as well. In may the waves are small, but u can imagine 30 meter waves coming in from the ocean. We will come back in winter to see this spectacle"

I visited around 7:00 PM, just before sunset, and the weather was perfect — calm, clear skies and a warm breeze. It’s a fantastic time to visit, especially for photography or simply taking in the scenery.
You can easily reach it by car, and there’s usually street parking available nearby. The area around the viewpoint is lively, with small shops, souvenir stalls, a Ferris wheel, and even coin-operated telescopes for curious visitors who want a closer look at the waves or the cliffs.
It’s free to access, and a must-visit spot whether you’re in Nazaré for the day or staying longer. This is one of those places where you really feel the scale and beauty of the Portuguese coast, especially knowing that just beyond the headland lies Praia do Norte, home to some of the world’s biggest surfable waves.
