"Beautiful 20 km hike between Odeceixe and Aljezur. Amazing views through countryside, farmlands, villages and seaside cliffs. I’d recommend it! Only ran into one other hiker. Very easy to find the way because of the signs."

"We just did part of the trail: Fisherman’s trail and we loved it. If you look for a walk with beautiful landscapes, hidden beaches and tranquility, this is the trail for you.
We started the trail at Zambujeira do Mar and finished at Praia do Amalia (this is where our casa rural -stay- is). We did it in about 2h-2,5h. If you’d like to stop, take pictures and so on I’d say you should count at around 3-3,5h.
I would highly recommend to spend the day over there in one of the beaches as they are almost empty and gorgeous!
We were recommended to start the trail from north to south due to the wind as this way, the wind is usually on your favor. And it worked :)
Especial thanks to all the volunteers that help keeping this trail in such good condition and properly signaled. It makes it super easy to follow the path if you look at the two-lines (green and blue) marks on the way.
Make sure to bring enough water as there are few bars and restaurants on the way! And bring sunblock!"
