I wandered into Mercado Bom Sucesso thinking I’d grab a quick bite and somehow ended up living out a mini vacation. First stop was the wine bar. The staff were so friendly I briefly considered inviting them to my birthday party. The glass of bubbles they handed me was so crisp and lively it almost winked at me.
With my taste buds now fully awake and lightly buzzed, I wandered to another stall and grabbed some salmon. It was so perfectly cooked I assumed it had been blessed by a fish-loving food wizard. Soft, flavorful, and somehow fancy without even trying.
The real treat though was sitting outside with my glass in hand and watching the world pass by. I people-watched like it was a competitive sport. One guy rocked socks with sandals like it was a political statement. A woman juggled a baby, a baguette, and a tiny dog without breaking a sweat. Someone jogged by in jeans and I still don’t know if that was a cry for help or high fashion.
In short, I drank, I dined, I silently judged. Would absolutely return for more salmon, more sparkle, and more strangers to spy on."

"This is a wonderful place. Here you can find food for very different tastes, prices and other parameters. This is the so-called food court and inside one room there are many different establishments. My wife and I ate risotto and it was very tasty. We also tried dessert and took wine from the wine shop. We took wine several times, local port. We really, really liked it. We will definitely come again."
