Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the informative and engaging nature of Porto's walking tours, highlighting the passion and local knowledge of the guides. Many appreciate the opportunity to discover hidden gems and receive personalized recommendations. While the hilly terrain and cobblestones can be challenging for some, the overall experience is highly recommended for its value and insight into the city's rich history and culture.

"So pleased I found this tour on tik tok. Was very informative and enjoyable.

For the walking tour:
Joao was great and super helpful. Gave a list of local Porto recommendations at the end of the tour. Would 100% recommend.

For the port wine tour: Alex was great. Got the group to introduce themselves and that got everyone more comfortable chatting. The value was great and the choice of ports seemed to cover every option you could try.

For the walking tour: May struggle if you can’t walk or handle stairs well but it wasn’t too fast paced if you needed to slow down a bit. Good opportunity to stop and catch up if needed. But the stair at the end were steep and long. You could let the guide know you are splitting off before going down them and not miss anything though."

"Fantastic 3hr free walking tour seeing some of the beautiful sights of Porto. Our guide Pedro was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his city. He explained its modern history with some quirky facts thrown in that you won't find on the travel sites, including the realities of living here and some of the modern-day challenges the city faces.

All in all an amazing tour, highly recommended to see for yourself."

"One of the most insightful tours we’ve been on and it was in a small group setting too! Our guide, Fiel had non-stop facts, stories and jokes. He made everything so relatable and interesting. He played Fado music for us while walking down some of the most picturesque streets. He’d even put together a Porto google map of all sorts of recommendations as well as Spotify playlist of Portuguese music.

He ended up taking us to a music academy just because we asked about the Portuguese guitar - honestly there is nothing he didn’t know about or that he wasn’t passionate about.

He did almost kick us off the free tour (kidding!) because I said the best Portuguese chicken I’ve had is in South Africa - and of course, he gave us a list of Portuguese chicken restaurants to try and compare.

Can confirm - Pedro Dos Frangos was the best chicken we had in all of Portugal so thanks for the rec Fiel, but let us know when you head to South Africa next 😜"
