Our new friend, Paulo took us to this incredibly beautiful church built in the 16th century which left us completely speechless.
The grandeur, the history, and the most lovely woman, Anabela Reves, who took time from her busy schedule to show us all around the church, providing detailed explanation of the columns and organ (which was installed a few hundred years later), are just a few reasons why this church is not to be missed. The artwork alone is something one would see in world-class museums. Seriously, this location should be noted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
If you are interested in history, whether religious or not, this church is a must in your visit to Portugal!!"
